Jurong West Primary School Band aims to provide opportunities for budding musicians to develop their musical abilities. Inculcate aspects of basic musicianship such as posture, proper handling of instruments and movement as a collective group. Our band members have passion on music and willing to commit their time on practising. We enrich our members' musical experiences through local exchange programmes with primary and secondary school band groups, and through performance opportunities at school events as well as public events.

The organised routines also allow our students to learn the values of discipline, teamwork, responsibility and commitment beside music drills. With it, we also aim to stretch our students in their leadership skills by empowering them to in charge of their section groups trainings, plan and organise performances and participate in various events such as the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF), school performances, exchange programmes etc.
